AUCHTERARDER ROTARY CHARITY AM-AM GOLF EVENT
Auchterarder & District Rotary Club’s annual charity AM-AM Golf Event was held on Thursday 4th May.
Exclusive use of the course was arranged with Auchterarder Golf Club, who also provided the prizes and catering.
A total of 31 teams of 4 golfers participated on what turned out to be a dry but increasingly chilly day.
The very first Team out captured the Team Ball prize-winning score, with a Team Captained by an Auchterarder Rotarian winning the overall best Team Score prize.
Individual Ladies & Gents prizes were presented for Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive at selected holes.
Thanks go to Auchterarder Golf Club for facilitating the event, our loyal, and some new, Sponsors for their contributions & support which is, as always, gratefully received, plus Rotarians from Auchterarder and further afield for their efforts on the day.

The surplus monies generated by the AM-AM amounted to just short of £4,000.
The majority of this is to be used to support relief projects in the Turkey & Syria earthquake zone, through the Rotary Foundation.
The balance of funds raised are to be allocated to, as yet unidentified, local charitable causes.
