Our Traffic and Transport Working Group – have carried out a Pedestrian Crossing survey – Volunteers recorded the volume, type and locations of pedestrians crossing Auchterarder High Street and associated side roads from adjacent footpaths. The survey periods took place during the mornings and afternoons of two weekdays (Thursday 4th June and Wednesday 10th June 2026), and each survey period (four in total) lasted no longer than 1 ½ hours. The roads surveyed were all subject to a 20mph speed limit. 20 surveys were conducted. The team are now reviewing the data collection process and analysis and a report will be available over the coming months.
