Community Clean Up

Great effort from the Tullibardine community Let the Dogs Run🙌

As part of #SpringCleanScotland we’re celebrating the work that happens to keep our community clean and are having a focus on a #communitycleanup between the 20th and 21st of April.

How can you get involved?

The Auchterarder Core Paths Working Group have their usual path tidy meetings (1st Wednesday and 3rd Sunday of the month) with some tree planting fun tomorrow 🌿and what we’re hoping to be a big community clean up on the 21st. 10am Pavilion. All kit provided and tasks for every ability.

(supervised) Kids enjoy a litter pick and its an ideal contribution towards one of the guiding or scouting badges. ♻️

Auchterarder Allotment Association have their spring clean happening on the 20th and 21st. 🥕

The Community School of Auchterarder will have a selection of opportunities for young people to get involved with too #greenflagschool. They’re also the community litter picker host – https://www.pkc.gov.uk/…/Community-litter-picker-hosts

We’re aware that there are many people regularly keeping the area clean and they deserve a huge shout out 🙌 one group being the folks of Aberuthven Village dealing with whats thrown from cars 🙄

If you’d like to get involved in your own street or an area near you, get in touch if you’d like to borrow some little pickers or contact the school above 👆

Are you part of a group who’s planning something for this period? Let us know, we’d love to celebrate your community efforts too.

Lastly…….We all know this shouldn’t happen…….it’s not that hard to use a bin……if you know someone who needs a gentle nudge in the right direction, let them know about LitterLotto.

Everyone helping out should log their info too #inittowinit
