Friends of St Margaret's: Making a Difference in Auchterarder
The Friends of St Margaret’s is a local charity, run by a dedicated group of trustees who are passionate about making a positive impact on the local community.
A Coffee Morning with a Cause
The September coffee morning, held in the Aytoun Hall, was a resounding success, raising an impressive £1724.30. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with delicious refreshments and a fantastic raffle, attracted a large crowd of eager supporters. The funds raised will be used to support the valuable work of the Friends of St Margaret’s in the community.
Introducing the Cycling Without Age Trishaw
One of the highlights of the coffee morning was the unveiling of the brand-new Cycling Without Age trishaw. This innovative three-wheeled bike allows people with limited mobility to enjoy the freedom and joy of cycling alongside a volunteer pilot. The trishaw will be a welcome addition to Auchterarder, providing opportunities for residents to connect with nature, socialise, and exercise.
