A priority identified in the CAP was linked to the desire for better connections whilst using the public transport network.
Thanks to the quiet work of local volunteers, the importance of Gleneagles Station is regularly highlighted to Network Rail and there are more local conversations with Docherty’s too – All of this adds up to the gradual improvements which can make such a difference to travel plans!

SCRP are keen to continue to promote the improvements to both rail services and bus-rail co-ordination to encourage a further increase in patronage at Gleneagles Station. The greater the increase year on year, the more likelihood there will be that ScotRail can be persuaded to consider further timetable improvements in December 2025 or May 2026.
