The CAP is our way of demonstrating community voice – The document sets out the priorities which residents voted on, what was noted in surveys and matters discussed in the community interviews. It enables us to speak with one voice and for partners such as PKC to be confident that the issues raised are those important to the community as a whole.
The CAP itself is a five year plan – to work effectively, it needs our community to get behind it and put the plans into action – Thats what’s happened here and the outcome is a demonstration that it works.
Input to present the CAP as evidence that this is a key priority has come from members of the community involved in our Roads Traffic and Transport Group, our Green Spaces Group and our local councillors, with support from various PKC departments keen to work with us as part of the #PKoffer
Thank you to all involved!
If you are interested in taking forward any of the actions in the plan, get in touch. We have several working groups already set up and hopefully more to come.
