We were delighted to work with ACSR on the recent Bike Fun Day at the Park – here’s his follow up to those who signed up in advance. I felt that sharing it here would be a nice way to pass this on to everyone who attended. If you’re able to complete the feedback form at the foot of his letter it would be really useful for planning future events and enabling funding to make another day similar to Sunday where everyone is free to enjoy everything!
“Hello Everyone,
I wanted to get in contact to say a huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who registered for, and attended, our ACSR Bike Fun Day on Sunday – it was an action-packed, fun-filled day…with some nice weather and good food too!
Our aim was to provide an enjoyable community event, to encourage everyone to use their bikes more often and with more confidence, to highlight ACSR’s cycling projects (including the Pump Track and Mountain Bike facility developments) and to raise awareness of the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships being held in Scotland. We hope we managed to achieve this. We have also decided to keep the Orienteering competition open until this Friday (Friday 7th October), so there is still the opportunity to visit the 7 locations in Auchterarder (the first sign in is the main noticeboard outside the APAFC Pavilion in the Public Park), complete the online quiz and enter the competition – to win the prize of a £50 Synergy Cycles voucher!
